Hard to believe that this simple hand tool replaces my expensive, milled, red metal doweling system. It replaces my other fancy metal doweling tools that I've gathered over the years. It's so darn trivial to use that I am now doweling everything.

This thing is awesome. I am not a woodworker, but I dabble a bit. I have never put a dowel in any wood until I got this tool. I have been able to build edge joints with precision. Also built a panel with a recessed center using this. Turned out pretty good for a first-timer. I can't say enough about this thing, I love it.
