Really useful for all manner of things around the home especially if you are doing any kind of woodwork. Great for doing straight measurements and then locking in that measurement with the aid of a clamp. Straight and level cut all the time. Wish I'd bought this years ago.

I've only ever had a carpenter square, and this tool was faster, easier, and more accurate for marking lines for cuts. The old square still has its uses, but this is my new go-to tool for most of what I do for marking and cutting. Because of its raised edge, it is also easy to pick up from a flat surface while wearing gloves, unlike my trusty old carpenter square.

If you do any type of framing, deck building, or other carpentry work, this is indispensable. I've only had it a short time and it has already become one of my most useful small tools.

I recently bought this to make perfectly straight cuts on small planks using a jigsaw. It works so well if yoU just place the jigsaw guide against the speed square. I wasn’t aware of all the things this was capable of doing. The precision sounds exciting! My next project with this tool is to make Angled cuts! Wish me luck!

This is my first tri-square. The lines are straight, the measurements are accurate, what more could you ask for. I suppose it could be slightly easier to read, but that could be more about my eyes being old! I would recommend it all day, every day!
