My daughter and I have been open water swimming at a local pond. It works great and we are very visible. You can also stop and take a rest on it.

Love it! I used it when I went snorkeling last week, easily inflatable and deflatable. Great to have a little rest if you get tired in the water. Also, for the safety is great, you can see it from the far.

I use this product for swimming in a freshwater lake where very often there is no one else around. Now that I have this swim buoy, I feel comfortable swimming farther knowing that if I got a cramp or needed a rest, this device would help me out.

This personal buoy is very useful to be seen in open water. We use ours in the ocean, and it really is simple to inflate, and definitely helps show our position in the deepwater to boaters. It provides minimal drag while swimming. Also if you swim with a variety of swimmers, this provides a nice little pillow while waiting at a rendezvous point.

This buoy is an extremely bright shade of safety yellow and it really stands out in open water among the waves. I prefer this color to orange and hopefully, it makes me visible to lifeguards and passing boats.

This is my second swim buoy and I like it much better than my old one. It only requires a few breaths to inflate and deflation is a breeze. The waist belt is adjustable and unlike my older buoy, it is attached to the buoy with a simple, durable loop whereas my old buoy was attached with a plastic hook that kept becoming unattached during my swim sessions.

Great product. I recommend it to everyone who does open water swims. The storage compartment is huge. I was easily able to fit in a towel, keys, and phone. It was easy to inflate and support my weight (approx. 185 lbs) easily. I swim at a lake that has many kayakers and sailboats. This makes me much more visible. It doesn't create any noticeable drag while swimming and the belt are comfortable.

I was required to purchase this buoy to participate and open water swim. It seems to be well design and sturdy and I love the bright color.
