Thinning and straight sheers are both amazing quality! They cut through some nasty mats on thick dog fur. The thinning sheers are the perfect size for eye corners for dogs over 15 or so pounds. Under 15 pounds they're too big. The straights are VERY sharp and so far no signs of folding when cutting thick fur.
