Great for hiking we usually just use as a back up if we run out of the water! It's amazing how clean the water taste through the straw! Great purchase!

I have six of these. one in each car and backpacks we take hiking. It is our safety measure in case we get lost on trails or while four-wheeling. sturdy and doesn't take up much room.

I am going to keep this one simple. Recently I got stranded in the backwoods of the Adirondack Mountains. I had run out of water earlier on the first day and used this until I was rescued on the morning of day three. THIS WORKS, this helped save my life. If you hike you need this product!

This is really good. It purifies the pond, river, puddle water, etc. I think this could be used to help a lot of people who struggle to get access to drinking water. I use it when I go on long walks (day and through the night) in the countryside and the woods, it saves me carrying heavy loads of water in bottles with me.

Brilliant idea. Light enough to fit into any pack/suitcase. Wherever the water supply is suspect this little device will do the trick. A friend of mine had Giardia from drinking beautifully clear water at a spring one year, hadn't realized sheep and other animals also used it. This would have prevented the problem.

I know and trust the brand as this filter saves lives daily in 3rd world countries. I am an army veteran and I believe everyone should have at least one of these *Per Person* in their household for unexpected events seeing that we need water to survive and in today's world with constant fracking, clean drinking water guarantee never exists. Forget the water boiling when water advisories are on. Just use one of these. Always try to prepare for the unexpected, Your very life may very well depend on it someday.

I've used these both in Iraq & Afghanistan. Works as advertised. Extremely reliable and genuinely safe to use a filtration system. We now use it as an SOP to have one in everyone's ruck when we deploy!
