Just a pop of light, just enough, could be a tad brighter but I am not complaining about the brightness. I have them on my stairs on my firepit deck as well as on the back of the seating. I have thought about getting more for another set of stairs.

I have been surprised at how bright these lights are and how little sun they need. I put them on posts around my pool deck, some of which are shaded a good portion of the day, fully expecting some might not light when trees are in full leaf. They all come on and give the area a cozy glow. Super easy to install and perfect for the job.

I live on a very dark street with no lights. The steps down to the street were always dangerous at night.

I will update at the end of the year for durability but so far so good. I Love these. I have them on the fence to brighten the yard and where the kids play on the trampoline. I have them on my deck and on the steps so people can see them at night. I love these things.

We were satisfied. By early evening as it got dark the brightness compliments our deck giving it a nice cozy, relaxed look, we don't even have to turn our patio porch light on at all since we installed these lights. We also added some on our front porch posts.

They make great little spotlights for entryway steps; unobtrusive lighting for my patio areas; and low-profile lighting for the garden walkways. I have very steep outside back steps that are hard to see in the dark. This is a fantastic product that I wish I had discovered sooner. Super easy to install. Sticky strips really help before driving screws in.

Wow! I didn't expect to like these as much as I do! They give off JUST the right amount of light and are perfect for small "lipped" areas like slightly raised patio blocks lining a walkway (you can just use the adhesive strip to secure it and it DOES stay secure even in the elements of weather). PERFECT for steps and I agree with many other commenters that putting one on each side of the EDGE of the steps facing inward is way better than putting them in the middle of each step going down. Just the perfect amount of light! I will definitely be getting more of these. You will not be disappointed.

I LOVE these lights!! They are colorful and the lights change colors very slowly and softly for a super fun vibe! I installed them along the top of our wooden fence, and it was easy and only took a few minutes. The beautifully light up the path on the side of my house to help guests find their way. I would highly recommend purchasing these. They are vivid and colorful. You won’t be sorry!
