I am a beginner bass player and purchased this to help strengthen my fretting fingers…especially the pinky. The device arrived quickly and seems sturdy. The tension of each piston is easily adjustable. I find it comfortable to use, either with the bottom of the device against my palm or my thumb.

I've only had this thing for a week and have been using it every day. And while I don't subscribe to hyperbole, this thing works. It's easier to grip my guitar, catch all the notes on a bar cord, and hold long-playing strokes for repeated strumming. I like it. I like that it's adjustable and the soft grip is easy to hold. All in all, good hand/finger exerciser.

I place the bass guitar and find this device great for practicing finger independence. The tension is quite high (even for a man) and it may be used for increasing finger strength for rock climbing etc. Also a good stress reliever.
