Picked this up to carry with me while hiking. Seems loud enough to do the job… hopefully, I won’t need to find out!

I was so afraid to blow this just to test it, but I did anyway, it’s very loud and what I love about it is that I don’t have to open it, like mace, which could take time. It’s given me the security I need.

I use this in case of an emergency while kayaking. I keep it right on the front of my PFD.
