It works great. It's really sensitive. It helped me pinpoint a tiny gas leak that was coming from underneath my oven. It was something where the faint gas smell would come and go. Ended up the tubing that connected inside the oven just needed to be snugged up a little bit.

If you're not a pro and are doing your own has worked, this is a great tool to have. The old soap and bubbles still work but I like this better. It finds the smallest of leaks and when your family has to sleep in the house, it's great peace of mind.

My son and I thought we smelled gas off and on. I purchased one of these detectors. We turned it on and the alarm went off right away. I called the gas company and they said carbon monoxide registered as high as it could go! I thank God I bought this detector. It really works and is a lifesaver!

I kept getting a faint gas smell in my utility room. I suspected it was a union in the gas pipe feeding my water heater. This verified where the leak was. I replaced the union and then checked it and all the other fittings. Great to have around when working with natural gas.

I had an old valve on a gas stove that had a slow small leak at my daughter's house. Without this detector, I would not have known to replace the valve. Purchased this after having to call my local fire Dep. to identify the source of a strong gasoline smell that filled my house. It turned out to be my lawnmower gas tank leaked, fumes from the garage got into my attic stunk up my house. Great product, thankfully I do not have any leaks but this product really works. I checked near my stove and it is able to detect the gas as soon as bright nozzle near the stove.

This thing actually works as described, I always had a light smell of natural gas but could never pinpoint it by smell until today it works great worth the money
