I am getting into sewing again after a long time. I did not want an ironing board sitting around all the time. In my sewing area I have a small table, which happens to be exactly the size of the extra-large mat. This mat works great. I just unfold it, put it on the table, iron with my new little steam iron, and then fold it up and put it away. So very convenient and great!
