I was a little concerned about the all-plastic construction, at least on the parts you can see. I assume the actual flexible arm inside the plastic sheath is metal. I was most concerned with the plastic clamp. However, the clamp seems to be sturdy enough to stand up to some high clamping pressure, though I suggest you do not over tighten it. The arm is very strong and it can support quite a lot of weight. Adjusting the position of the device in the clamp (phone, tablet, etc) is not a one-hand operation. You need to use two hands to sort of wrench the entire arm into the necessary position. However, that's just how these types of arms work. If you want a one-hand operation arm, you will have spend far more for a different type of arm system. I recommend this product. It works well, is of good quality and it does what it's supposed to.

it is perfect to what we have expected. you can use it to clip baby monitor and there are some stuffs for you to harness it on the bed or wherever you want to.
