I used my lock to lock my generator during the power outage.

The alarm on this one is very loud! and it fits over the wide-hasp of my green house.

Nice deterrent, particularly for public places where a high pitched theft alarm would be unwelcome to a thief. I don't know the decibels of this unit but in my garage its loud enough and high pitched enough to hurt your ears a little and be very annoying. Put the key in and turn it and the chrome shackle comes out. There's a groove in one of the shackle ends. Insert the grooved end in the hole next to the key and the alarm works. Put the ungrooved shackle end in the hole next to the key and it becomes a just a regular lock. Nice option.

Works as expected! I used this on my camper chains while parking overnight at hotels. The wind never set it off but if you forgot it was there and bumped it with your leg it would go off as expected. No complaints!

I think it's a great idea to have a siren on a lock. Out of the box they work great. I bought 2. Great for price.
