I've used several tap handles, these are by far the best I've handled. threads feel right when turning the collar and the jaws lock taps up nicely without cranking down on it. Highly recommended!

This works much better than the typical cheap alternative. It actually holds the tap by the square facets machined into the end of it without slipping, and without needing to be tightened too much, either. Moderate hand-tightening is all it takes.

The best money that I’ve spent in quite a while! Top-quality design and manufacturing. Truly, I should have bought this a long time ago. Combined with a spring-loaded tap assist, this tool really delivers. Highly recommend!

I bought this to replace a cheaper tap wrench with square jaws that did not work well with small taps. This works well, gripping the square end of the tap diagonally, holding straight and securely.

Worth every penny if you find yourself using smaller taps. Hasn't slipped yet. You can feel the machined edges when you first pick it up out of the box. No 20 yr old casting molds here. The handle is snug, but not an overly tight fit, and will give your fingers ample purchase when in use.

How many times did I have to travel to the Hardware store to pick up 1/4 20 nuts, just to attach a piece of equipment? Not any more. I drill a hole, thread it with the TAP, and BAM it's ready to action- A Director's dream.
