The tool works great. It's easily capable of stripping and twisting even heavy wire (up to 12g) and seems limited only by the power of your arm or drill.

I wired 16 lights and several wire joints for plugs and switches using 12 gauge solid wire. This tool made it very easy and fast to make my connections.

These things twist the wire very nicely. It takes a little getting used to for control to not overwrap. I set my drill on low speed and with variable speed trigger was able to get really good at it by the end of wiring 1/2 of a house.
