I've had magnetic levels before, but they always broke. I'll be more careful about this one, although it seems much better built. These are almost indispensable, always the right tool for those special jobs. I use mine to make sure my satellite dish is set up perfectly level. I take my tv with me when I go camping and this makes setup a breeze.
