If you are stuck on the side of the road at night these are awesome. Instead of simply placing burning flares behind your car on the side of the road you can with a press of a button start these flashing and place them behind your car, or even better in your car.

I really like this flare kits. Super complete. It comes with the screwdriver tools and the flares in one cool orange colored bag. I tried a couple of flares and its pretty cool lights. I also like the included car emergency escape tool. You never know when this could become useful to save your life or someone else's. I purchased a couple of kits for gifts. My friends really like them.

When I covered the first responders as a reporter, I was surprised to learn their greatest danger was getting hit by a vehicle when on the side of the road. So, extra visibility could be a safety game-changer if you find yourself unexpectedly on the side of the road, especially at night.
