I am an electrician with 40yrs in the trade and in my opinion Non-contact Voltage Tester makes the best, most trustworthy electrical test tools on the market. Just purchased my tenth 1AC-A1-11 because I gave my backup away to someone who was using an inferior product.

Get this asap, check your circuits before you start poking around. This allows you to make certain there is nothing hot before you electrocute something important. I have had this a while and its been flawless.

This has been an excellent tool for me to test for current. Around the house, it is useful when something stops working to determine if there is current at the receptacle. This is a must-have for RV camping. Lets you know if there is power at the pedestal AND if a surface is "electrified" when it shouldn't be. Extremely useful.

This is a nice tool to have for general work around the house hanging ceiling fans, etc. If you are unfamiliar with noncontact voltage testers practice using the tool with lamp or extension cords, etc before using it for an actual job. Once you learn to trust it you can be reasonably sure there is no power on the wiring you are working with.

We use this product to test every pedestal in any RV park or any remote electrical site prior to plugging in any appliance. It is easy to turn on and off, the lighting works even in the brightest sunlight, it is light and very simple to carry. Every RV owner should have one of these and use prior to plugging into any RV park.

I was doing some checking around on my electrical circuits and fixing a few things. I was glad to have this item to make sure the current was off or on to the particular wires I was working on. It is easy to throw the wrong breaker or to forget if you have it on or off, so using the Non-contact Voltage Tester to check before touching any wires was a real good thing.

We're remodeling our home and handling the majority of the electric component ourselves. A friend at work recommends the Non-contact Voltage Tester to us and it has worked wonderfully and as expected. You can put the end into a socket as well to see if it is life. Overall, great and a must-have item in the house.

I use voltage testers quite frequently and this one is a winner. Very reliable and has long battery life. I need to use a product I can trust to prevent electrical shock to my body and this one never fails to warn me when voltage is present. Don't bother with the cheap imitations when personal safety is important.

I like it. It seems to work accurately... at least it does on my home current. I bought it because I saw a YouTube video of an electrician using this device after he turned off power to the outlet. He said he always double-checks. This device saved him from being electrically shocked because there was an additional live wire on the outlet he was working on that he didn’t know about.
