I bought this to make cole slaw, but when I got it. I realized it is very useful for so many more things. I have been blanching and peeling tomatoes for the freezer, and it is so handy to pop the blanched tomatoes into the strainer/bowl combo to peel later. I like the four options for grating too. Very handy!

I really do! I like that the colander sits solidly on the raised grid in my sink, it stores compactly within the bowl, and it’s lightweight enough to lift both pieces out of a lower cupboard. You can strain pasta, rinse or soak fruits and vegetables safely and even thaw out frozen shrimp without losing any smaller pieces. Both the bowl and strainer clean up quickly.

Very handy in the kitchen. The grater works well on a carrot, so it should be able to handle anything you can throw at it. Set it on a damp towel so it doesn't slide around on the counter while grating. Get one.
