This is a very interesting tool! It works very well and is so simple to use. I used it to cut metal sheeting while roofing my garage and house. I made 20' cuts in a matter of seconds (about a minute). I could also easily cut across the ridges and make circular cutouts with ease. Very impressive!!! Takes a little practice to get over humps in ridged roofing/siding metal -- clamping down the work helps a lot, but overall a big step up from manual snips or grinding disks. Attaches to impact drivers easily and is certainly way cheaper than a dedicated tool. No visible wear so far after a few dozen long cuts.

Got this yesterday and haven't used on the job but chopped up some pieces of ductwork I had in the back of my service van and worked very well but it should be noted that you almost need the drill clamp that is sold separately if you want to cut loose pieces of metal with it or you have to clamp down the metal or something. But for cutting a return hole in the furnace or cutting any hole in ductwork that is already hung I bet it would work great without the drill clamp that you have to buy. Oh and one more is that with that drill attachment connected it does not rotate, there are other models that do rotate with the drill clamp but I actually think this one probably works better because it doesn't rotate and cuts nice and straight, plus it's lightweight and smaller
