This is relatively good quality, for the price. Sturdy aluminum with slightly less sturdy stainless steel vanes. I had to take it apart after my roommate ran over it and messed it up, and it was fairly straightforward to fix. Throwing in a little dry silicon lubricant helped it open/close more smoothly.

It works as expected. Precise enough for me. Seems well made.

Measure for circles and transfer size to another object.

My spouse makes many circles while crafting and this makes it super easy to do so. It has infinitely variable diameters (within it's range!) so it is very versatile. Well-engineered and well made. Looks good and performs excellently. If you need this kind of solution, you can't go wrong with this item. Worth it.
