I had a door with two problems: 1) it wouldn't stay shut, 2) it had a towel rack behind it when fully open, so a normal magnetic door stop wouldn't reach out far enough to allow the door to engage before getting blocked by the towel rack. Sick and tired of fighting with our rubber door wedge, I bought one of these. Bingo! Easy to install. Works great. Engages every time (pay attention to clearance requirements). Has a lip to prevent travel past the puck on the floor so it's just like a regular doorstop. Easy to disengage and close the door. Very happy with this purchase!

This door stopper is a great alternative to the type that sticks out like a pole from the corner of the door. We didn't want one of those hitting our new cabinets that are behind the door. We also tried one of the stoppers that attaches to the door hinge and it prevented the cabinet door behind our door from opening. Logistically, we needed an alternative and this stopper worked perfectly. It can attach anywhere on the floor and is low profile (minimal to the negligible tripping hazard). It prevents the door stopper from hitting anything behind it. The metal parts do rub against each other when the magnets adhere and are pulled apart. So far, we see no scratching occurring. Highly recommended.

I have a particular door that is hollow core. The room has a tile floor that I didn't want to drill into to mount a doorstop. This set helped me on both counts. Both pieces (door and floor) are mountable. No more loose door. The magnet is strong enough to hold but easy enough to release.

These work well and have stood up even when the wind is up and catches the door. We had to use a piece of rubber to bring the height up enough so the door would catch the latch.

Nice look and feel, but make sure to measure the space between the floor and door on all the doors you plan to use it with. If the gap is too big, it won’t catch the magnet. The strong magnet catches the door beautifully!

My bathroom door started putting a hole in my wall after the door stopper fell off. I looked for something to replace it with and after finding these door stoppers I want to get one for every door. They are just great and work awesome!!!

Pretty solid and heavy. The magnet is strong. It was easy enough to install (took my husband about 10 minutes) Though we were worried about the strength of the magnet at first the strength was JUST RIGHT for the weight of the door out to our garage. There are no loud noises when the magnets attach or detach. I can now bring my kids in through the garage easy having the door stay open.

This door magnet is great. It’s really strong and looks great on my floor. It was easy to install. I used the 3M tape that came with it. I cleaned the surface well and I waited for 24hours to use the magnet to allow the tape to dry and stick well. It comes with screws as well for those who want to use screws. The instructions provided are super easy to follow and the magnet does the job. No more slamming doors by my 3 three-year-old. I love it and will definitely buy it again.
