I was looking for a punch that allowed it to stay on its point by making the mark, and the one works it really well. The tip is very solid, in any case, it has not changed after a good 50th of use on various metals/wood.

I've struggled with cheaper center punches and their hit and miss action, even when they were brand new. This center punch was certainly not cheap but it does work perfectly and I've yet to experience it misfire. It is nicely made and conveniently small in size. There is sometimes a good reason why some things are more expensive.

A very good hit on steel, no vibration. Allows accurate pointing I appreciate, for my part, its small size which allows going pointing in tight places without using a hammer. Confirmed quality.

I use it to mark the parts and be able to measure them to make the designs in Inventor and it is perfect enough to mark the metal to use the gauge and measure.

I bought this to remove some pins from a collectible action figure but I've used even more around the house to put precise pilot holes in wood furniture and shelving before drilling or self-tapping screws. It's easy to use and the quality seems excellent.

This is the best center punch! I can push it with one hand, which allows me to hold the piece with the other. I can adjust the pressure for thin metal so it doesn't dent it too much. Totally worth the money.
