I have just tried the Double Edge Trimmer Tool for the first time. I applied the edging veneer to a scrap of 3/4" oak plywood. After a few minutes for the piece to cool, I ran the tool over the edge. I had left a bit of edging material overlapping both sides of the plywood. The cut was perfect and gave a great corner. In one photo it shows where the plywood had a flaw. This caused the edge tool to turn slightly. I would never use a piece of plywood with a flaw on any project in any case. This is a good tool.

I've tried it on a couple of pieces and it works well so far.

I tried being cheap and used a razor to cut away excess veneer but I couldn't get a clean cut and it looked terrible. Should have bought this from the beginning.
