The items seems surprisingly sturdy, despite the standard plastic construction. Clever design that seems like it will hold up well, if you slide it onto the vent gently.

These cup holders are awesome! They work better than I thought they would, they have a snug fit on our car. Just know they are not adjustable in the size of drink they will hold, though they have been perfect for all of our needs.
