There are all kinds of contour gauges on the market, but for my needs which is building model airplanes, this is perfect.

I think in general this is a great tool. My husband was so used to fitting flooring pieces without it by the time I ordered it, he didn’t use it much. It is well made. Our daughter-in-law and her dad used it for a flooring project and loved it.

This is a quality contour gauge. The pins do not move unless you want them to. It's exactly what I needed and I think I'm a better person now for having this.

This is a DIY tool must-have! Their uses are endless and I think of all the projects of the past that I could've measured once! And not wasted materials. This tool works for any project, imagination is the only limit.

I got this for my father for Christmas and he absolutely loves it he prefers the metal prongs on this to some of the other plastic ones because the metal prongs last longer and stay in place better. Great for frequent DIY!

Very pleased with the gauge. We use it for contour comparing concerning automotive body repair. Very easy to adjust, and each wire hold firm. No loose wires

I used this to evaluate the flathead combustion chambers as I did some modifications to the chambers. After shaping I used this to compare the shape of the chambers.

This is a very accurate tool. Saved me lots of time, installing wooden floors in my house. I was able to trace the pattern around molding, and even use it to measure angles I had to cut. If you do any woodworking or need to do custom cutting to match another shape. Get one of these. After you push this gauge against the shape you need to reproduce, the pins conform to the shape and allow you to trace it onto another material allowing a perfect match. I highly recommend it!
